Storage & Backup
Where are your files, actually?
For most small businesses the honest answer is: spread everywhere. Some on the office laptop, some on a phone, some in somebody’s personal Dropbox, and the really important stuff on a USB stick in a drawer. That works right up until the laptop dies, the phone goes in a puddle, or the person who had it all moves on.
We put it all in one place, in your building, where your staff can get at it and you know exactly where it lives.
-
One place for everything
A shared drive your whole team works from, with the right people seeing the right folders. No more emailing versions back and forth trying to work out which one is current.
-
A copy that leaves the building
Storage on its own is not a backup. A box in your office survives a dead hard drive, but not a fire, a flood, a break-in or a ransomware email. Every setup we do includes a second copy sent offsite automatically.
-
It stays yours
Your files sit on your premises, on hardware you own, with the offsite copy held in Canada. No per-user fees creeping up every year, and nobody else’s terms of service deciding what happens to your data.
Set up on site, then kept an eye on
We size it to your business, install it, and sort your staff’s access out in person. After that we watch it. Drives usually give a bit of warning before they fail, but only if somebody’s actually looking — and we’d rather swap one out on a quiet Tuesday than the morning it takes everything with it.
What you get
- Storage sized to what you’ve actually got, with room to grow into
- Installed on site and set up around how your team works
- Automatic offsite backup included as standard, not sold as an upsell
- Monitoring, so we spot a failing drive before you notice anything
- A restore we’ve actually tested, because a backup nobody has tested isn’t a backup
