Your website might be costing you jobs here's how to tell

A tired website doesn’t just sit there doing nothing — it actively sends customers to your competitors. Watch for these signs.

1. It’s hard to read on a phone

If visitors have to pinch and zoom, most will give up. Mobile is where the majority of your customers are.

2. The phone number is buried

If someone has to hunt for how to reach you, they won’t. Your number should be visible the moment the page loads.

3. It’s slow to load

Every extra second of load time loses visitors. Speed is one of the cheapest wins available to you.

4. The information is out of date

Old prices, wrong hours, or services you no longer offer make customers wonder what else is out of date.

5. It doesn’t show up on Google

If you can’t find yourself by searching what you do and your town, neither can your customers.

If you recognised two or more of these, a redesign will likely pay for itself in recovered jobs faster than you’d expect.
